Our story begins in 1986 when most in the industry felt convention marketing was about building a nice looking exhibit booth. The “build it and they will come”, mentality. However, Joe Poretta had a different idea and was one of the first to provide his clients with greater service and cost efficiencies through a global network of partners versus a traditional fabrication facility. He essentially combine exhibit building with convention marketing strategy. In 1990, he met Barbara Orr and voila … two individuals with a passion for creativity and a drive for customer satisfaction and Poretta & Orr was born and we’ve never looked back.
